HAWKS Peer Mentor Collective at Lehigh

Transitioning to college can be challenging.  We’re thrilled to have our HAWKS Peer Mentor Collective assist students with making the most of their first year at Lehigh.  HAWKS Peer Mentors are a group of experienced students from the College of Business who have committed to help make our first-year students' start as smooth as possible.

HAWKS are a proud group within the larger Lehigh University initiative, the Mentor Collective.  This mentorship program matches first-year students with others in the university community based on shared interests and background and is designed to help students set and achieve both academic and personal goals. Across Lehigh, the Mentor Collective aims to help first-year students by providing them with personalized support from mentors with similar experiences.

All first-year students entering the BS in Business and Economics degree program in the fall have the option of being matched with a mentor based on common academic interests, career goals, life challenges, and experiences. Mentors can also use the online platform’s resources to spark meaningful conversations with their mentees.

We encourage every incoming first-year student to register here to begin their relationship with a HAWKS Peer Mentor.  Previous mentees greatly benefitted from the experience, sharing that it helped calm their nerves and provided tips and insights about college life.
