Deadline to Withdraw Earlier, No More WP/WF

You are here

Effective this fall, you will not be able to earn a grade of WP or WF at Lehigh.  You will also need to decide to withdraw from a class earlier than in semesters past.

If you drop a course within the first ten days of the semester (three days for summer sessions), you will have no record of the course on your transcript.  A student dropping all courses for which he or she is registered is considered to be withdrawn from the university.

If you withdraw from a course with the approval of your advisor and section instructor after the tenth day of instruction and before the end of the eleventh week of instruction, you will have a grade of “W” assigned to the course.

This fall (Fall 2017), the last day to withdraw from a course with a “W” is Tuesday, November 14th.

If you have any questions about this policy and how it may relate to your academic plan, please email or meet with your academic advisor.  DO NOT DELAY.

You could check your degree audit to verify your course schedule at URL: go.lehigh.edu/degreeaudit

If you have any other questions regarding drop/add, please stop by or call the CBE Undergraduate Programs Office.  We are open from 8:15 am to 4:45 pm, Monday through Friday, except for University holidays.
