Welcome, Class of 2022!

If you are a first-year student intending to transfer into the College of Business and Economics (CBE) to pursue a B.S. in Business and Economics degree, please review a typical first-year student schedule for students intending to transfer into the CBE. 

 


CBE College Change Information Sessions for Fall 2018

For undergraduates in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) or the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science (RCEAS), the first step in the CBE college change exploration process is attending an information session.

 

Thursday, August 30: 4:10-4:40 p.m. in RBC 151

Friday, October 5: 3:15-3:45 p.m. in RBC 161

Friday, November 2: 12:15-12:45 p.m. in RBC 161

Friday, November 9: 3:15-3:45 p.m. in RBC 161

Friday, December 7: 3:15-3:45 p.m. in RBC 161

 


Changing INTO the B.S. in Business and Economics Program

 

I.             College Entry Requirements:

Students who wish to transfer to the CBE from CAS or RCEAS to pursue a B.S. in Business and Economics may do so provided they have achieved the following:

  • Successful completion (with minimum grades of C-) of ECO 001 and MATH 081 or 021. Courses considered equivalent to these courses will also satisfy the requirement, such as approved transfer credit (including AP courses), or the successful completion of MATH 075 and 076 or MATH 031, which are equivalent to MATH 021
  • In good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 at Lehigh University
  • Completion of at least 12 credits in their college of matriculation at Lehigh University
  • Sophomore status (23 credits)

II.           Steps to Make the Transfer:

  1. Attend a CBE College Change Information Session (see schedule above).
  2. Complete the CBE College Change Checklist.
  3. Schedule an appointment with the Associate Dean of your current program at least two weeks prior to the registration period for signature on the Petition to Change Colleges:

  1. Turn in your Petition to Change Colleges to the CBE Undergraduate Programs Office once you have met all prerequisites and prior to deadlines listed below.
  2. If approved, the Associate/Assistant Dean in the CBE Undergraduate Programs Office will sign and forward your Petition to Change Colleges to Registration and Academic Services after the posted deadline (see below).

Please note that if you attended a CBE College Change Information Session but do not yet meet entry requirements, you may meet with Assistant Dean Emily Ford by scheduling an appointment through Antoinque Brown, Coordinator, at (610) 758-4498.

Changing OUT OF the B.S. in Business and Economics Program

 

  1. Schedule an appointment with Assistant Dean Emily Ford through Antoinque Brown, Coordinator, at (610) 758-4498.
  2. Print out and complete the Petition to Change Colleges.
  3. Meet with Dean Ford, who will sign the Petition to Change Colleges.
  4. Schedule a meeting with the Associate Dean of the desired college for advising and signature:

  1. Take the completed form to Registration and Academic Services for processing:
